My favorite thing!!!!

I thought this might help some newbies and also some oldies. I have been stocking up on stuff just to keep in the trailer. I'm tired of everytime we go camping it takes me a full day to re-load stuff I have brought back into the house. Everybody chip in on this one and let's see what we come up with.
I'm going to list my favorite things I like to have.

1-coffee pot (for sure)
2-griddle (wouldnt leave home without one)
3-pots and pans (of course)
4-cork screw
5-blender
6-extra outside chairs
7-extra towels
8-extra sheets (never know)
9-radio
10-walkie talkies

Let's here what your favorite things are you like to have.

Thumbs up Appliances

We keep a small waffle iron and toaster packed away under one of the gauchos. The better half needs her breakfast.
As far as packing and unpacking goes I've made lists for all kinds of things and tucked them away in my PDA (aka the Brain) and printed them out before the trips.
The phrase "Have you seen my Brain?" is not an unusal comment around my house.
Tom.

Don't forget

You can't forget your CAN OPENER!!!!

Also, Chaplain Kent, we bought one of those aluminum covered Bibles that we keep in our airstream. It has an imprint of a soda can on the cover and asks, "Thirsty?" We named our Airstream Thirsty because of it.

I'm Lazy

I have my motor home stocked just like my house with things that won't ruin. I bought dishes, pots, silverware, utinsels, mixer, toaster, coffee pot, griddle, towels, and bedding that are only for the motor home. I bought at garage sales. dollar stores, and Wal-Mart. I would forget stuff if I had to reload for every trip. I wash the linens and take back into the MH as soon as we get home. In the summer when we go a lot I keep all cleaning items stocked. We can be ready to go by just loading clothes, medications and a trip to the grocery store. Made my life easier and I look forward to going instead of dreading to reload things.

Laptop
telephone numbers & email addresses (on laptop)
cellphone (and charger!)
GPS (whoops - haven't bought one yet, but going to soon)

What great advice!!!

This is all great advice. Great idea to keep emergency numbers/ contacts etc in case something came up and a stranger needed the info to contact a family member.

Digital Camera - to record the fun and document the problems so I can remember what to fix "if" I get home safely. Good way to explain (a picture is worth a thousand typed words) what's wrong to you guys when I get on the road.
