Recommendations on military campgrounds on the east coast? What are your experiences? Have you stayed in any? Tell us the good and the bad!
We are just starting to explore in our Bambi 2020 and would like to make a trip south along the east coast in March/April of 2020. We would like to take advantage of the military campgrounds along the way.
I have never been to one I didn’t like. They are getting pricier as MWR has decreed they must be self-funding.
Most fun — NAS Key West
Fanciest — Desert Eagle RV park, Nellis AFB, Las Vegas
Great for Balloonfest — Kirkland AFB Famcamp, Albuquerque
Favorite - Oak Grove Campground, Pensacola NAS
Enjoy them in good health and thank you for your service.
