Might need a park manager-interested?
Hello, I may be close to purchasing a trailer park in east central Illinois and will need a good manager for it as I live 5 hours away. Speaking with the city it has the potential of being something nice and the need is there. I can't get into the specifics too much but the hour I spent speaking with two city employees leads me to thinking that it is the small, All-American type of city that I'd bet most of us yearn after. You know the type, flags, patriotic bunting, real marching bands in the parades, porches and saying hi to your neighbor etc. Other employment opportunities seem to be abundant as well.
I will know more after next week but wanted to put the word out there. From what I've gathered a good, well-versed handyman will be much in need. This need not be a permanent position if you'd rather not, I would at least like to deal with someone who would put the time in to get things up and running from a maintenance standpoint and could then help hire a replacement.
Knowing the type of care we put into our 'Streams I feel more comfortable asking for someone here than in a newpaper. Please pm me your thoughts and questions. I will try to acknowledge your message within a day or so and will forward more information and possible scenarios as they are worked out.
