Met some Airstreamers today

A couple of weeks ago a forum member posted a question about traveling through where we are. I answered, we conversed, and today we met up with them. They are on a fast trip, so we met at a local restaurant. We'll probably meet up with them again another time.


I'm always impressed with the friendliness of Airstreamers. So far, every single one I've met has been friendly and willing to visit.


If you are visiting SE NM in the winter let me know and we can try to meet up. We're in an Escapees Co-op park, so you have to be an Escapees member in order to stay here. If you aren't, there is a KOA just four miles down the road. Three National Parks and Roswell are all a day trip from here.

Airstreamers mostly ARE a friendly bunch and more than happy to visit with a fellow Airstreamer. We check campgrounds for Airstreams, and I am as likely as not to plant a little flamingo on a stranger’s stairs

If you haven’t, try to visit one of the (11, I think) Airstream parks scattered across the country. You’ll find you’re family within minutes.
