Cory
I hope you and your family had a good Christmas season and all the best in 2008. A new year and hopefully a kick start on your treatments.
All the very best, and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Barry

Sorry I have not updated in a while, this new regimen is very tough and the travel on the mountain pass has been stressful. I just finished my seventh treatment of the twelve week regimen on Tuesday (2/5) and have spent most of the following days sleeping on the couch. I could really use some extra prayers for strength, some days I just don't feel like doing all the things that I am supposed to do. I am just so tired. The good news is that my pain level has decreased to about half of what it used to be.

Cory, I'm glad to hear from you - earlier today I was wondering how you were doing. I'm glad you're doing better with the pain, and you do have my prayers for additional strength. Keep us posted.

Cory, thanks for the update. It's good to hear the pain has reduced. As for feeling so tired that you don't feel like doing the things you're "supposed to do", just keep in mind that your full-time job right now is get become well again even if that means sleeping on the sofa all day. We are praying that your strength soon returns and that the sofa won't call to you so loudly.

Just a quick update, on Monday was admitted to our local hospital with internal bleeding. I had to stay there Monday through Wednesday. My bloodhemoglobin level was at 5.8 and should be in the 10-14 range. They had to give me four units of blood just to get it close to that level. The GI doctor went in and did an upper GI, he found several lesions that he cauterized so now my stomach is very sore. I hope that my blood levels are good on Monday so that I can receive my Chemo treatment on Tuesday. Only four more treatments until this regimine is over.

Cory, glad to hear from you, although I was hoping you'd be having a bit easier time of it! At least the mountain passes are cooperating a bit better lately. Hey - only four more weeks of this treatment - you're almost there! Hang in there ~

Good to hear from you Cory.
It's good you were able to make it home for your daughters birthday.
We don't like to ask too frequently as we know you have enough to focus on right now, but you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Barry

Cory! Glad to hear you are home. There's no place like home. And that you were blessed to be there for you daughter's birthday.
Again, you are thought of often and we wish and pray for you a continuing recovery.
