Marietta, OH: Request for inspection on 1st AS purchase:

Hello.

We currently live in Northern California having moved from Colorado two years ago. We are considering purchasing a 1978 Trade Wind located in Marietta, OH. Here is the Airforum Classified link to the trailer:

I contacted several "Volunteer Inspectors" listed on the Airstream Forum who reside in OH. Unfortunately, none of them were close enough to Marietta, OH where the trailer we are considering purchasing resides.

The seller is a fellow AS Forum Member and has been very forthcoming with information on the complete remodel he performed in the past year. I have no reason to doubt anything he says. I would still prefer to have a 3rd party inspection performed as I will not be able to personally travel to OH to inspect the trailer prior to payment and shipment.

Please let me know if yourself or someone you know resides close to Marietta, OH and could perform an inspection or recommend a Trailer shop in striking distance from Marietta which I could contact. I would be happy to reimburse you for your expenses/fees.
