Lance32, welcome to the forums!
Thereís a lot to consider about full-timing in an Airstream. I suggest doing some research and learn how others have done it.

Good luck with your quest!

Hi Lance. I'm currently LIVING in a 2003 25'. I am single. I am very comfortable. I still work, I reside in a month by month park. I own a house that I rent out, didnt need all the space anymore. I spent a lot of time (18-months) researching RV floor plans, spending days at dealerships, to the point the sales people just waved me onto the lot. I would sit quietly in a floor plan I was interested in for several hours to just feel the space. Pretend you are going thru ALL your daily routines in the space. Closet space was important to me, it's my home! After all the research I limited myself to 25'-27'. And settled on an older floorplan they dont offer anymore, the rear corner bed 25ss. It's a little tight in back but the living areas are more generous. It also has larger closets than the current 25'-27' models. In my opinion you will regret anything less than a 25' if you are planning on living in it. If money is a concern look for a decient used one. Also most newbies dont realize finding a park can be difficult, explore that out a bit before you buy a trailer. And many parks will not accept trailers more than 10 years old. Do your homework BEFORE you commit to a trailer. It's not for everyone, but I'm quite content. There comes a stigma with the lifestyle, "oh, you live in a trailer park!" My response is, "yes and have lots of money in the bank!"

Are you planning on spending four seasons in New York? My guess is, it won't be very comfortable in the NY winter months - no matter what the size. This thread is always a good read...an oldie, but goodie!!
