Before the change over to new owner, these guys had a couple vintage airstreams that they were working in.

Definitely more to this story.

I’m happy for the Sanders family but sad to learn this as I’ve always scheduled any work needed on Beatrix there on my way in or out of Florida. Has anyone gotten any recommendations on where to have service done now? I’m in the Tampa area....thanks!

I've used Airstream of Tampa when in FL.

They have a shiny new building and are a Five Rivet dealership but, IMHO, the service is mediocre at best.

I followed up on a recommendation I got several years ago and took Beatrix to RV Renovators in Pinellas Park. I was very pleased - super nice people, good work, and reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be going back!

Angry Just Retured From RV ONE/Old Sanders RV

All Airstreams there farmed out to other RV One Dealers. They now sell fifth wheels and standard travel trailers. A few Motor Homes.

Service is poor to unacceptable. New Service advisor and Service Manager don't answer phone nor return calls.

My coach was returned with all interior lights ON and battery depleted to 11.1volts. Muddy footprints on floor. Greasy hand print on wall.

Service Manager "We have new techs here..still in training.
He acknowledged: No Quality Control Check by anyone on service performed before return to customer.

Bigger (RV ONE) is not better than old Sanders Family owned business. I will not recommend service or sales here to anyone.

Mr. J.D. Sanders, who founded the dealership many years ago (perhaps in the 1970s), has died.

He passed away a few days ago.

That may be his son. J. D. Sanders Sr., the founder, died in 2013. I went looking for the obituary and Sr. was all I found.

I dealt with David a lot ordering parts. I was checking to see if it was him, but didn’t find anything.

Thanks for an update

We bought our '05 trailer in 2019 from Sanders and was happy with all services after that. However, I've been hesitant to go back once I found out they had sold. We were at an Airstream Rally early this month (Oct.) and had a presentation by the owner Classic Coach Works in Ormond Beach. It's a smaller company and he seems dedicated to his work and reputation from what my husband and I could tell. He showed some modifications he has done for other Airstreams. So we are planning on taking ours there towards the end of this year for just some basic things and then we will go from there. Does anyone on here have feedback on them? We are from N.E. Florida and work so going far distances to get anything done would be tough for us. We could but I prefer to use our vacation time for actual vacation/camping. Thanks for any tips!
