Leaking Shower - Bambi 22FB
First, Thanks everyone for posting. I've been able to learn a lot directly, and through other's mistakes. We are new to AS, but not new to camping. We just completed our first "real" camping trip with our 2021 Bambi 22FB and have a leaking shower. Not a lot, but enough ~8 oz. Toward the end of my wife's first shower experience I noticed water seeping out from under the wall next to the shower, toward the front, by the entry door. The trail was probably not perfectly level (but very close). We couldn't recreate the event by running the shower for a short time, or by pouring water down the drain. I'm looking for the obvious things they could have missed in assembly before I tow it the 100+ miles to the nearest dealer for warranty work. I'm fairly mechanical, so all options that wouldn't void my warranty are on the table. Thanks in advance.

Looks like our second trip with the 2021 Bambi will be to a dealer for warranty work. Very unfortunate for our first Airstream experience.

Kurt... welcome to the Airstream Experience.
Good service from your Dealer or Jackson Center is option #2.
Once the quirks of new are taken care of... you will enjoy your purchase.
Our Experience: Take a note book. Look at everything inside and outside. Fill up the fresh water tank. Dump a bucket of fresh water into the Black and Grey Tanks.
Check drains under the sink. LED lights all working. Battery voltage. Radio. Fan(s). Air Conditioning unit if you have the amps. Propane and electrical appliances. Refrigerator operation. Toilet flushing. Popped interior curved area pop rivets. Tires. Dexter Brakes... all work? Check one at a time, using manual braking control. Night lights. Floor squeaks. Entry door hinges and screen door fit and seals. Windows. Window shades. Linoleum bubbles or not.
Smell for Propane when you open the cover. Furnace operation.
Everything. If you have questions... write it down to be checked. This is your opportunity to have a perfect trailer when you leave your Dealer or Jackson Center.
The Service Crew have seen everything and will check out everything you mention. If it works... takes them a minute. If not... they can do it faster and better.
Cushions. Vent covers on roof. Solar? Check out if it is working. Batteries... often sit on a lot some years ago and were BAD on the day you came home.
Shower door. Try the Hot / Cold and see if the handle stays where you left it and not move. The shower will sound like a motorcycle idling... So will the water pump if there is air in the system.
YOU need to be the inspector. Ask questions. If not satisfied with an answer, ask another so you get an idea of the terminology.
Do it together. When your Dealer or JC is done you should be on your own for a long time.

There is an access panel just inside the entry door. Pop the plastic screw covers off, remove the screws. Check to see if the plumbing is intact.
I had to effect a plumbing repair on my new 22FB in 2019. Since I have a pex tool, it was easier to do it myself.

Pex is the plastic piping used for plumbing. It is connected with brass fittings, and the plastic pipe is clamped on to the fittings with crimp rings. The pex tool looks like a large set of pliers, and is used to crimp/compress the crimp rings around the pipe. The system is quite easy to use.
Google will explain it for you too. But before you buy or rent the tool, you need to figure out exactly what you need to do.

Oh my goodness, I am having the same problem right now and I have been in my Bambi for over 5 years. I thought the pipes in the wall were leaking because water is not running down the wall outside the shower door, it's coming out from the floor edging. I am not mechanical at all, yikes, so I'm not certain if I should call a mobile repair service because I live full time in mine. I'm going to continue to read the thread on your post to see if there is something I can do myself first.

Also, I am waiting for a call back from Bay Area Airstream in Fairfield. They have been amazing to partner with for all my service needs and are very responsive. They are very aware of my limitations to repairs and are quick to make the necessary adjustments and get me back on the road to full time (especially after several user errors in the past 5-6 years of ownership). I will keep you posted

I have had water on the floor near the shower wall and the main door. I my case it was coming in from the main door handle and at a certain angle, water runs behind the handle and into the door and on the floor. Best way to deal with this is too make sure the trailer is level whenever parked. There is no good way to seal the exterior door handle as it swings out to open the door.
I am waiting for the inevitable dable water leak from the shower to appear in my trailer. It would seem that the PEX crimpers are missing and have been for some time at the Airstream factory

I just got off the phone with Bay Area Airstream and they asked me to bring the Bambi into the service desk to assess the situation. My appointment is for next week Saturday and I can use the Campground showers until then. Stay tuned

Today I opened the inspection access by the door and there are no signs of any leaking from the line feeds to the shower and it is still dripping, ever so slowly though. Is there any drawing for what is behind the walls in my trailer in a schematic style? I may have to take my unit in to service and would like to do some homework before I go to that step.
