Well I have some really bad cabin fever.

Brandi got me one of those portable fireplaces for the holidays and we had some wind the last few days that blew a few branches down.

Last night the weather was great and as I walked by the Safari, I noticed it all and a light went off....why the heck not. After I ran out of firewood, I just retired inside, fired up the ol laptop, cracked a cold one and went on the Airstream chat before turning in.........

It's like that beer commerical.....

Just doesn't get any better in dry dock!

The trailer goes 109 miles to the turkey hunting campsite this Saturday for the month of April. I'll bring it back the end of April and resume polishing. I can't wait to get on the road and spend time around the campfire.

Thumbs up Silvertwinkie

Have house guests coming for 5 days

They can have the house!

My wife & I are moving into the AS in the backyard - & the weather is 75 day time, 55 night time.

Will try to get a green grass avatar up soon - it is beautiful outside - trees have leaves.

This weekend I'm gonna start to get the Safari ready for the season. I will be waiting 1-2 more weeks for the weather to stay above 32 before I start to dewinterize it.....I can hardly wait to hit the road.

Oh Eric, had to rub it in....you get to play with yours, and ours is still waiting to get the bearings packed. Don't expect it back for 3 weeks!

Looks like fun though, wish we were there to join you both.

It's WARM!!!

Fifty-eight degrees at 6 AM on the East Coast of Iowa! The Behemoth is calling to me!

We may take it to Western Iowa the weekend of April 17-18!

I have been so wrapped up in the other off topic thread that I almost forgot about the rest of the forum!

3 weeks to get your bearings packed? Are they doing other things too?

MaShep, thanks for putting it together...we didn't have anyway to take the pic together and as good as I am with networking, photo manipulation is't one of my strong points!

BTW, I sent in last week a new plate request for the Safari. Looking to see if they will give me TWINKIE...be pretty neat, but we'll have to see if the DMV has it avail.

That's really nice, Linda... but it's not realistic. Are you trying to blackmail Brandi or something? I happen to know that she would NEVER be seen in public with Eric much less be captured together in the same photo... and it's no wonder...

Wow, they let you burn an open flame??? If I tried that in my neck of the woods, the polution police would be giving me a visit....unless that flame was propane. Mine is 3 miles away sitting in the storage lot. So near but yet so far.
