Interstate battery

Just drove from rom Little Rock headed too Knoxville. Stopped at rest top for an hour plus and engine won’t start. Get “battery/alternator start engine” notice. Would leaving the light on for two hours run the battery down really? Is there a magic button to push? Or do I call for a jump start before it gets dark?

Not sure which rest stop you are parked at, but I would call AAA or someone similar.

Thanks. I have used AAA for my cars for 40 plus years but called Mercedes roadside service for this one (Airstream Interstate) and could not have wished for better service from them or the towing service they sent. South Side Towing has the best equipment, training and experience on towing sprinter conversions as well as . I, along with my two furrbabies are now back in Nashville at Neely Coble who specializes in Sprinters and Sprinter conversions - waiting for a diagnosis. And hopefully an easy fix.
