I found a for sale 24' '76 Argosy behind one of our local taverns this weekend. (not on Craigslist) Signs say $5000 or BO. Located in Richland WA. Phone numbers appear to be 509-438-1689 and 509-205-8462. Body and paint don't look too bad. All windows have sun screens in them so I couldn't peek inside (by standing on my truck bumper).

I keep forgetting to mention. If the trailers I see are native to our area, we live in the desert part of Washington State where we get only 6" of precipitation annually. Toasty hot summers with no rain.

Looks like it's parked at the Terraport at JC, interestingly. Wonder if they had it in for service. Leaks, perhaps...?

Seems like I misread the value guide. I just took delivery of the trailer and am not even sure about the year. By the door, I find these numbers (hard to read so might be off)

Up high on the front are the large (faded) numbers 12938.

I'm guessing that the number with the J in it is a VIN?

I bought this without a title. Anyone know anything about how to get a title?

While I owned an AS about 30 years ago, effectively I'm a newbie

Welcome to AIR Forums.

Based on the VIN supplied (12562J1656), I read it as an International (1/I); 25 foot TT (25); '6' is baffaling as it should be a 'B' for Center Bath Double Bed or 'A' for Center Bath Twin Bed or 'T' for Rear Bath Twin Bed or 'D' for Rear Bath Double Bed; 2 is 'x'2 meaning either '62 or '72 and looking to the last digits there are four which makes it a 1972 model as the '60s only had three digits; J stands for Jackson Center assembly plant.

As for Title recovery, there is a section under ‘forums’ a sub-directory of ‘Title, VIN & Registration’ where you will find answers to your question(s).
