Husband gone crazy

I new my husband has been awful sweet the last few weeks. Last night he said would be great to go camping this weekend, some where close. Of course I said great let's go. He waits a little while and then he states would be nice if my little RA group from church could go 6 boys. Of course I said with the Airstream where are we going to sleep? I just couldn't say NO. So I need all the prayers that the Airstream will survive the trip Or should I say I survive.
It's only one night what could happen?
I just made a reservation and found out there is also a Jack Russell Terrier show going on.
Okay so 150 Jack Russells and 6 boys.

Last year we experienced the little terriers and it was okay. It was fun watching the activities of the day at the show. The more I think about the camp out I get excited most of these boy's have never camped. We are taking the tent, I have to admit it brought back memories when I brought it down from the attic only for a small second.

And yes the DH is going to pay, sounds like a few hours working on polishing the trailer.

Becky, I'm sure you will have a great time and will look back on the trip with fondness. That said, I've learned (after a couple of less-than-successful pre-Airstream camping trips) to get all details up front before agreeing to any sort of trip.

Becky,

Be prepared for the next time. Here is a preferred supplier for all your needs.

Glad to help!

I would bargin for one hour per collective age of the boys...

6 boys X 8 years old = 48 hours!

Seriously...have fun!

This should be a weekend full of surprises and loads of fun, especially if some of the boys have never camped. Enjoy!

May the Farce be with you...
I have made decisions with insufficient information, sometimes it works out, sometimes not. Hope this is one of the positive times.

Becky,
You can sneak into my trailer as I leave on Saturday Morning ;-) That way you could attend the Western Womens Rally.

Becky, quick! Take Michelle up on her offer! A Rivettes Western rally and a free trip and your DH has the boys, which he said he wanted. Best wishes, really, for a fun campout ~G

Becky, sounds like a lot of fun. When it comes to terriers, regardless of size, I recomend drugs. Either for you or the terrier. Having had experience with all sizes and having owned a Giant Schnauzer I can say the smaller the better. Some say they're high energy dogs... I say they're possessed.

You will survive... but take numerous throw toys and balls for the Jack Russell... and medication for what will be a sore arm! Or, each kid must play with the dog for 15 minutes (30 min?) before they are rewarded with food.

Have fun!

I had to abandon ship last night, I had taken my son and 2 of the boys out Thursday night. My husband arrived last night with the four others. I have never in my life seen some of the most disrespectful boys in my life. First of all 2 ran off and it took us about 30 min. to find them. Not to mention just plain not listening. I looked over and one boy was lighting pine needles with the tiki torch. After about 2 hours of this they all decided a movie would be good sound good to me until I found 2 jumping on the front gaucho.
I told my husband good night and headed for home and just pray the Airstream survives.
Never again I have learned a great lesson, camping Airstream style is just for my family.
Next time all the tents will be in tow and not the Airstream!!!!!!!
