How Tall Is It??????
I've searched EVERYWHERE... Can't find the info.
What's the height of my 1970 Overlander International 27', with roof A/C on it? Got to modify my carport, and can't go out and measure the trailer since it's soooo far from my house right now.
Thanks if you know!!

It's just under 10 feet, closer to 9ft 6in.
My 1971 Tradewind just makes it into my shop door, which is 10ft high.
Depending on the A/C system you have, 10ft should be a safe bet.

Don't go under 10ft and you will be ok. You would always want a little more space than what you need just in case.

Just out of curiosity, is 9'6" with or without new axles? Dear God, what have I done? Am I losing it, and become way too critical? Time to camp. I need a marshmellow fueled cool-down period.

I built the doors on my barn to fit the as. You need 9 and a half feet to clear the air conditioner. I have a 2001 and it fits real nice.

Rick,
It's 9ft6in with new axles. My batwing sits slightky over the A/C, which is why I need 9ft10in, commonly known as 10ft.
Btw., a camping trip helps relieve the symtoms you're exhibiting. I knowbecaue I just go tback from 3 days at the beach.

If you're building from scratch, I'd go as high as the neighbors allow. Just squeeking under won't give you any room to work on the roof under the shade. If you've ever replaced vent covers or caulked the roof out in the sun you'll appreciate a roof over your head.

I just measured my 2015 25' Flying Cloud using a straight 2 X 4 extended out over the side of the trailer and a level and it measured 9' 9". If you figure 10', you should have a few inches to play with.

I can't tell you how tall your trailer is, but I can tell you how to get an accurate measurement as I had to do for my trailer. I just had the same question (as to height of my Airstream) because I am building a car port and want to be able to park the Airstream underneath it. I just bought a new 2015 25' Flying Cloud (love it!). To get an accurate measurement, I took a straight 2 X 4 and laid it on top of my A/C unit. I then put a level on it and extended it out over the side of my trailer. Once the level was reading 'level', I then dropped a tape measure down to the ground. It measured 9' 9". That height could vary a little depending on the inflation level of the tires, bur if you figure at least 10 feet, you should have room to spare.
