HOTC Tragedy

So senseless and inhumane. Sadly, the greatest threat to humanity is, and always has been, our capacity for inhumanity and indifference towards others.

Eternal rest to those who died and prayers for strength and hope for their families & friends. Also praying for those who have such evil in their hearts.

This was some sad news. I did not know the family but to think so many killed who were just trying to enjoy life. This stuff seems to be happening more and more which makes me sicken. My thoughts go out to the friends and family.

I'm saddened and angry simulatiously by such ruthlessness. That poor woman...... I can't imagine the pain she is enduring.

A small tribute

I am changing my avatar to the yellow rose of Texas for the next week in remembrance of this family that has suffered this terrible loss. I think the yellow rose symbolizes all that is beautiful and good in life and hope that it comforts those who are grieving.

I would encourage others on the forum to show their compassion by joining me in this small extension of condolence.

The Four Corners Unit members have been notified of this tragedy. Some of our members with connections to the HOTC Unit know the Johnsons and others of us know them through their attendance at some of our events. We are all shocked with the awful news. We collectively send our thoughts and condolences to the Johnson Family and the Heart of Texas Camping Unit... We can only imagine your pain and sense of loss.

A ''NEW'' neighbor that help them settle in? I cannot wrap my head around this crime. So sorry to hear this. My thoughts out for all of our safe travels.

First time I have seen the details in the news. What a tragedy.

Looks like before you buy property nowadays you have to do background checks on your neighbors?
