Hooking New HDTV to old antenna

I bought a new 19" hdtv for my argosy. Im wondering how to hook up the old two wire antenna system using coaxial? The original set uses the two wire system all the way from antenna to the tv end with a coaxial plug at the end of it. The wire inside the camper is in real rough shape, so my plans are to put all new in. I can't find the original type of wire for inside camper. Thanks for any help.

None of the components, other than the TV, know the difference between analog or digital signals.
The old antenna and flat twin lead will work as well as anything thing new, if they are intact.

If the insulation on the twin lead has broken down, I would replace it with coax. Use RG-59 to be specific. This is the industry standard and available at any Radio Shack.

Use an adapter like this one to convert the coax to the flat lead connector on the antenna, or to convert the flat lead to coax at the new TV.

Good Luck,

I have the same problem on my Argosy. My research here suggests getting a converter that changes the 2 wire to a coax. It attaches at the antenna. Then run a new coax to the place where the old one was. You can get the converter at any radio shack, or online. Run the coax down the refer vent is easiest. Others may chime in on this.
