We love our 2012 22FB Sport. Since we got it last August we have taken it 2,000 miles. Next summer we are going on a tour of the west over 19 days with my husband and two teenage daughters. It is a tight fit but we manage!

Hey everyone,
I'm thinking about buying a Sport 22' but am not sure about which year to go for. What are the differences between the makes? I read a lot of posts and it seems the interior layout is the same but there are more windows in 2010 model and newer. What else is different? Appliances? Tanks sensors? Plumbing? I'm trying to make a decision if I should go for a new 2015 one or gently used older models?

We have had our 2014 for almost one year. We decided on a new one, because all of the one to two year old ones were only about 3-4 K less than the price we negotiated on the '14. Apparently these smaller models are in pretty high demand, new or used. We really, really like it. No real issues; small shower leak from the track, caulk took care of that. Sensors work OK, but we use RV Digest It exclusively, and that seems to help. Black tank flusher leaks, but I don't really use it. The layout works for us, but we sometimes wished we had a couch area.

Another question then-how much did you negotiate the price down? I've never negotiated before-except in Turkey when I haggled for some vase
But with big items like RV, how much can I negotiate off of marked price and not sound ridiculous? 10%? 20%?

I think there are threads on The Forum saying 10-15% off MSRP is not unusual. We negotiated right at 16% off, but it was January, and all the sales guys were playing solitaire.
