Hello Guest!! Part Deux

Howdy! Not a member yet? Take a look down at the bottom of the portal page. That shows how many members are signed in and how many guests are looking in. I'm sure that a few 'guests' are members checking on the day's activity, but I know that most guests are exploring the world of Airstream use, upkeep and ownership.

Many of us started in Airstream Forums with a basic knowledge that was somewhere south of beginner and are only partway along the path to full comfort in this Airstreaming world. So what! I learn every day. I found that becoming a member allowed me to use the search function and begin to ask questions in threads where I didn't feel too far over my head. It didn't take long and I was actually able to answer some questions or steer folks in a useful direction. So please become active in the Number One place on the internet for Airstream advocates!

This thread is directly derived from PeterH-79MH's original Hello Guest!! thread. I wish to pick up from there and seek encouragement from current active members and request that you, our welcome guests, join us! Please tell us your story.

Thank you!
Bob Smith

a membership drive here?

just like pbs!

for viewers like YOU....

it used 2 be we could 'see' what the guests were doing, what thread they were viewing and so on...

it would sure be nice IF that feature came back...

of course what we can see now is their bank account balances

and do guest know that when they sign on a generous deposit is made in those accounts...

yes it's true!

so sign up, sign on and get down!

from the 5 bank accounts i'm viewing right now....they could use the funds...

come on down readers, watchers and wannabes....

cheers

Why sign up?

Airstream Forums is moderated to maintain a level headed environment for information sharing without heavy commercialization. Airstream devotees or potential Airstream owners are all welcome. All phases of activity are open for discussion -- from how to find your Airstream, to towing, to maintaining, travels -- and on and on.

The solid blue bar under the Log-in box offers several options to non-members, including the specialty forums, frequently asked questions (FAQ), and an area to register. Once you become a member you also will manage your user characteristics and have access to the useful search function from this blue bar. There is a huge amount of information archived from four years of Airstreams Forums discussion. An extra benefit is being able to send private messages to other members.

We take privacy seriously -- it is not necessary to disclose full names, addresses or phone numbers. Your email address is not disclosed publicly, though it may be used privately by website administrators.

This is a great location on the web -- with lots to give. The personal & pocketbook costs couldn't be better. If you join, please click the 'Post Reply' button to the lower left of these messages and let others know how easy it was!

Thank you,
Bob Smith
