Happy New Year!

Wishing everyone a very happy and prosperous New Year 2003!
We were able to celebrate the New Year twice. Once on board the Royal Dutch Airline KLM on our way back from Amsterdam.
They served us champagne at midnight dutch time somewhere above the USA. Then we arrived in Austin at 11:00 pm and were on our way home when all the fireworks went off.
What a welcome back home!

Spent the evening at a house concert, listening to some outstanding performers, including probably the best duo in Austin.

Best way to spend New Years I have ever found. Among lots of good friends in a quiet neighborhood, no one drunk or even nearly so, everyone respecting the artists, and a short, safe route home afterward.

Only sad aspect was that on the way home I saw the EMS and a couple of police cars heading out highway 290 to someone who didn't start the new year well.

More & more advices, friends relations, courtesy, passion exchanges in this Airstream forum... we can do it if we want ...
