Both would provide about 300 Amp hours of power; both are lithium... and the Goal Zero has the added benefit of portability in case I need the power elsewhere (or if I swap into a new TT... easy).
Pros? Cons? Thanks for all wisdom and perspective!
Ok, with amp hours, the voltage matters. If I take a BB battery, it has four banks of 3V cells in it. They are in series so the current adds when run at 12V
. If you looked at it the way Goal Zero does (at 3V) the 100AH BB would be a 400AH device.
With a Goal Zero 1000, you get 1,045 watt hours of power. With a single BB lithium you get 1,320 watt hours of usable power. With a typical flooded lead acid group 24 you get 480 watt hours of usable power.
