Filled up with $75 worth of diesel this morning at $2.709 and felt like I had a real bargain. Who would have thought that price would feel good?

I filled up with diesel in Eureka Springs for $3,199 last week. The pumps were out of gasoline and only one of the two diese pumps was still working. Best price coming home was Flying J at $2.709 less my $.02 discount.

One of my Chiefs just returned from Iraq. Gasoline is 33 cents a gallon there. He told me he did not see any Airstreams while he was there.

My experience is that gasbuddy.com only gives prices for the large town and areas. Has anyone had better luck finding prices is small ville america?
