Hello folks:
First any one who gives of their time understands the meaning of service, few do. I need to replace my front console of my 77 Argosy. The person who had it before me must have used a screwdriver to gain access to the gages, an idiot. It now needs the facia replaced. Could the newer facias (woodgrain, look good) fit the 77s? Thanks
I did buy this 24ft. and will now have to replace some major parts, the engine gave out in Texas and is in the process of being brought back to New York.
I did get bad knews in Texas, but I met a family that has the TEXAS spirit. I will always have the deepest affection fro them. My Argosy is in good hands and when I pick it up at the end of the month I know it will be fixed right. Thanks Thad and Mary.
If the metal skin of the dash is still in one piece, a comptent metal shop should be able to recreate it in new alumimum. This could then have numerous finishes applied. Paint, wood veneer, or even just the swirl polishing followed by a clear finish to protect it.

Hello:
My Argosy is in the Ammarillo area. It needed rods and a seal for the 454.
My front console on the '77 is plastic or a composite and pieces have fallen off, its safe but needs to be replaced. I saw what I liked on a '79. I am wondering if I can get one and if I can fit it to my '77?
I think the dash pices will be compatible. Looking at my 78 it looks just like Peters and Freds 1980 models. You may have to spend a few bucks or get lucky and find one in a boneyard.
