Welcome to the Forums!

In my opinion, the best way to do it is to build a pair of gantries and lift the shell using them. The gantries have lots of other uses as well. Search the forums for "gantries", and you should find a schematic showing how to build them, and lots of threads describing their use.

good luck!

Welcome to the forum.

These "shell off" search results should lead to some productive reading:

https://www.google.com/search?q=shel...=airforums.com

Many of the threads are located in the "Repairing . . . Frame" sub-forum:

https://www.airforums.com/forums/f36/

Good luck.
