Flying Cloud 30fb Office

I'm couldn't find anything on this forum about the Flying Cloud 30fb Office, which is advertised on page 24 of the Spring 2021 issue of "Airstream Life."

What do you know about it?

I saw a post on "Keep Your Daydream" insider group that had pictures. Apparently Airstream of Tampa had one. They indicated that it was coming out Feb/March timeframe.

I couldn't find anything on Airstream site and Airstream sales folks knew about it but didn't have much details when asked.

It looks cool! Although if you have an existing Airstream, I am sure Ultimate Airstreams can make you a office :-)

Looks like the Airstream 30 Bunk without the bunk.
Both sacrificed seating.

It is the bunk model with a desk...I looked at it in Tampa last week...bathroom/shower combo behind the desk. Bath is too cramped for a 30' AS, IMHO... Also, couch across from dinning length wise vs 90 degree to TV like 30 Classic, so your still looking to your right when watching TV, above the dinning area.. but, hey, I am picky! I am sure it works for some folks!

Know

Been in the only one in the country unit 1. I got lucky feel honored. It’s different. Almost pulled the trigger on a order but we stayed with the original order of a 30 ft FC rear Queen

Airstream did some neat things with that unit. It’s cool but not for everyone it’s a touch feel think pass or buy. Your going to say oh this is it or maybe not so much.

Why we went with the 30 ' Classic because of substantial dinette table that can double as a desk. Although, a real desk chair would be more comfortable for long periods one would assume.

There was only 1 problem with my 30Bunk: The @#&% uncomfortable seating, for both the dinette and the couch. It would appear that this same "feature" is part of the 30Office.

Other than that, I can see the appeal.

@TheAirswing: How do you like the 30FBO? I was about to order one but got a great deal on a 2019 RBQ, so we are just finishing up that deal, and I'm likely going to remove the dinette in favor of a desk.

Here was my ad-hoc solution in my 30RQB…. Can switch out desk for dinette table. $100 solution if you don't count the chair.

Nice setup! Curious, why did you leave the one bench in? Dog seat?

I'm looking at doing something similar and hoping to have a big enough desk that I can double as a place for my dogs to sleep.

Left the dinette bench in as we still use the area a dinner table / etc when I’m not working in the trailer…

We did modify the lounge area by removing one bench and replacing with an extension of the sofa area.
