I use Paint Shop Pro 3.11 to resize and whatever else the picture needs then chop the file size down to 20-35K with a program called "JPEG Optimizer". Works for me!

I too have an Olympus digital, and use their program to download the pictures to my pc. Then I use Corel Photopaint to do any modifications. I never use Olympus's software for editing. It is adequate, but I like more in depth controls.

Obviously
ASTRDOKK appears to be caught in a time warp and what we are seeing is the phasing in from the continuum he is in to ours. It would also appear that his timeline has the reverse polarity of ours and he needs to bathed with tetrian radiation particles to make the phasing complete.
But, then again, I could be wrong.

Astrodokk Pictures
Astrodokk,
Actually both your pictures are 100K downloaded to my computer and they are identical as far as I can tell looking at them in Photoshop. They are not compressed down too far in JPEG. JPEG even at the lowest quality would not pixelate the image like this and 100K for this size image is actually pretty generous. I suspect it is the method of resizing or the software you are using that is causing the problem. I don't know what computer you are using but both Windows and Mac computers have software that come with the computer that will open your image and resize. So, if you don't have anything more sophisticated you might try that again and not your Olympus software.

Who's sleeping in my bed?
I can see you walking into your A/S and finding a person taking a nap in your bed.
Neat picture!

Still trapped in warp field...
What exactly is 102400 bytes in kb (kilobytes) and mb (megabytes)? Are they proportional to the pixels being utilized? What about percentage vs pixels? Oh Oh getting beamed out again...

Here's my favorite
I haven't been around for a while, so busy selling real estate these days! But I do check in once and a while to see what you all are doing. We've only had our Bambi for a year, so not as many to choose from as you all. We sure miss our camper, now that she's in storage for the winter months.

I finally got mine to post to something besides microminiature size by resizing the image to 300X300.
Give that a try. What's the worst that could happen? A blurred skewed picture?

Dave, did you get that from the guy in Okechobee on Ebay?
It looks familiar.
