Factory expansion???

Sorry if this has been posted or asked before but....

Last June we visited the Airstream factory and at the time they mentioned that they had purchased land nearby to expand the factory 3 fold...I think. They mentioned it was just 'down the road'. At the time we drove around but didn't notice any heavy equipment expected for major building construction on any land.

Has AS changed their plan or was I just dreaming ll of this?

It’s right down the road. Finishes in Q1 2020. Thor announcement to all investors, I’m sure you can do a quick google search to get exact dates or specs. The building is massive.

As of the article on Airstream that I read stated that JC is delivering 95 a week without the new factory on line with a plan to hire 300 employees to fill the new addition

I found the other post about it with pics. I guess last June it was just decided and nothing had been done yet.

So what...🥴

...I already have my AS, and after 16 years, I have it just about the way it should have been when first delivered.😂

Wow Bob, you're slow...only took me about 5 or 6 years. Except for that persistent rear end water leak. Still working on that after 9 years.

Seems like there was an article and pictures in the Blue Bret or Airstream Life magazines.

Back when I was visiting the plant in 2001, they were delivering 28 a week. Keep in mind they were building the big motorhomes and the slide out trailers in the same plant. They obviously picked up some space with the loss of the large motorhome line and the space used to build the slide out trailers.
