East Coast 'Streaming - Which Unit?

Hi All,

My life has been turned upside-down in the last few months. I was transferred from Colorado to Maryland. Lynn is still in Colorado until the house sells, and the cats and I are outside of Baltimore. I had to park Gert in my Mom's yard in western MD. It is an excellent spot for her, except that I am 3 hours away.

I am looking for recommendations for a Wally Club Unit to join. I am thinking about the DC Unit but there may be a unit closer. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kaye

I recently joined the Washington DC Unit (WDCU #170) and it appears to be a fun group with interesting individuals. Plus a number of vintage trailers. Checkout their website: http://www.servintfree.net/wbcci-dc/
Also you can call the WBCCI in Jackson Center for further details Good Luck.

Hi Kaye,

Welcome to the East Coast! We the New England Unit would love to have you join us as a REGULAR or AFFILIATE member. We live in RI and that would be approximately a days drive for you to come up. But........once you come to one of our rallies you & the Misses will be hooked.

Check out a few of our rallies from 2004-2005.

Wine Tasting Rally

Indian Summer Rally

The Quebec Heartland-Region 1 Rally

Safari Rally

Scusset Beach Rendevous

Seaside Rally

A Faire of a Good Time Rendevous

Rockin to Woodstock-Region 1 Rally 2004

So..........as you can see by pics and all, that we are a very active group. The membership is currently at 140 rigs.

Our most exciting rally will be next summer. We expect this to be our largest Region 1 Rally in history. It's a 75th anniversary rally to celebrate the birth of the Airstream, and the rally is called Allumination Celebration.

Greetings and welcome,
Gail

Tell me more about the cherry blossom rally. I have toyed with the idea of joining WBBCI, this might be the push I need.

Alden,

Thanks for the request for info. For one, see our unit web site: http://www.servintfree.net/wbcci-dc/

On it, there are links to the Cherry Blossum Rally. It is located on a farm that one of our members father owns, the Rodgers! Clayton is our host, and this year, Matt Worner from NM will be co-hosting it. Matt knows electricity, and he wires in the field for all the trailers / motorhome to have electric. Water is fill up when you can. We have a big tent for festivities, and dinner and usually have a bon-fire at night. It can be chilly. Saturday, most everyone goes down to the Cherry Blossum Parade in DC. It's a lot of fun. Saturday afternoon is usually open house, where you get to tour the trailers...most are vintage rigs with some vintage tow vehicles too. Come on down.

Rob
