That would be something I would mention in the for sale add. When they go to register in their state (if required) they would likely need to do a title search.
We have a 1961 GT and it has a AZ title and had a CA title when we bought it.
A simple google search shows Wisconsin requires tags on non farm trailers
Do the simple Google search again. Camper trailers less than 3,000lbs do not require license or title in Wisconsin. It has never been titled in Wisconsin. Pop campers are not titled here either, neither was our last tin can. Fortunately that one had an old title from Illinois.
Looks like the official weight of your trailer is about 2980 pounds so you are good. I’d think any state would require “tags”, also known as “ license plates”. The absence of them would seem to get unwanted attention from police when out of state
All travel trailers in our state require both titles and tags or plates. I’ve had to get a title fir a 1946 trailer bought out of state. It was a task and even required that I purchase a bond and get a bill of sale on our states official form plus an inspection by the police.
But I’m sure our DMV would have info that WI doesn’t require titles but I’d sure have to check with them before I’d buy one, first
