Bike 'streamin'

Hello, check out the latest issue of Home Power magazine, Dec'11/Jan'12, it has a great article by Ted Dillard on how to electrify your bicycle using a purchased retrofit kit. The only reason I know this is that I am a solar junkie and bought the magazine. I would like to try it for when our baby is all fixed up and we are ready to hit the road. Electric bikes would be awesome.
They are at www.homepower.com

Nothing specific Robert, just some people like to do volunteer work occasionally, and like anything to do with kids, and he had CASA in his name so I thought I would drop the hint.
CASA- Court Appointed Special Advocates, is a good program and it always needs help not just in representing the kids but in other areas as well.

I just like the pic!
Chuck like I said to Robert I dont mean anything bad or anything, the thread is about names, you had CASA in your name, I am a member of CASA and a volunteer and just thought it was neat that you had those letters in your name and I though it would be okay to bring up CASA. Didnt know about Skye's master or her work.

That's it. I am changing my username to something less controversial. From now on you can call me ” Marathon Silicone ”

How 'bout the......"Contemporary A Cappella Society of America"?

Much less controversy....no accompaniment needed. Bug-off losers.

Mrs. Bale was the eccentric housekeeper on the British sitcom "As Time Goes By." She always made fabulous cocktails, a talent to which I aspire.

"Landshark"is nickname for Dobermans (and we have Dobies) and we have a 78 Safari Land Yacht, so Landshark seemed a no brainer!

"Cracker" is simply a short version of "Florida Cracker." My family was one of the pioneer families of Sarasota, Florida (---around 1911.) "Cracker" was the name given to the Florida cowboys who roamed the open Florida range in the early part of the 20th Century, using loud whips to control and direct the hugh cattle herds. The whips made a loud cracking sound when properly handled - and thus the name. In conversation "Cracker" has often been used like "Redneck" - and I certainly have my share of "Rednecks" in the family - but now you know the true meaning! For the record, my Father was the Superintendent of Schools - and I only played at being a "cowboy!"

Used to have a recording studio called Barkingdogg Studio because I would get my now deceased pet to bark on command at the end of my recordings (songs & jingles). Still miss that critter.

Curious about forum user names

The RV that I had the opportunity to take my first camping trip as a child was a brand new 1964 Overlander Land Yacht International that was owned by friends of my family. The second RV that I purchased in 1995 was a 1964 Overlander Land Yacht International - - - resulting in my user name. A short time after purchasing my Overlander I learned that it was the same coach that I took my first camping trip in as a five-year-old.

Just me, the hubby, & the dog (R.I.P. Rae!) I actually thought it was my user name, like on ebay, so I wasn't very creative!

I provide computer and network solutions to dental offices, which has nothing to do with airstreams... but does fund the trailer projects, so I guess it works.

That one works well, in part because it works whether written or spoken. Far too otfen, "clever" wordplay works in print, but not when spoken aloud.

Mine all started before the name I was born in NJ my parents love to move my journey started in NJ I've lived in Puerto Rico, Ohio, then I did my own moving around Flo, GA, AZ, Hawaii, NY and now were in NC for a little while so Gypsililly was the best name for me and I'm not done now that we own an airstream I'm pretty sure there'll be other places

Getaways...pretty obvious I thought. Once we buy ours, we'll get away as often as possible.

2nd choice, and what I use elsewhere is Gr8Gambu. My last name is Gambill. Used to play a lot of Ultimate Frisbee in college. A buddy used to call me Gambu.... Then in one game I somehow threaded a pass through 4 or 5 defenders into his hands in the endzone on the last play of the game, FTW!!!! He kept hopping up and down yelling "great pass gambu, Great pass!". Then he took to calling me "The Great Gambu", which I shortened to Gr8Gambu.....

Now when we do get our AS, she'll be named Gigi. Gambill's Getway. GG. so she'll be Gigi.
