Courtesy Parking

This is our first year as WBCCI members and we have courtesy parking available.

Now I’m just curious, being new to the world of airstreams, how many of you have courtesy parking available? And has anyone ever used your courtesy parking? I’m also interested in those of you members who have used courtesy parking?

What have been your experiences? Good, bad, indifferent?

I've been a member for less than a year. While I haven't used courtesy parking, I have heard lots of stories, either posted on another list serve or from local chapter members. Every accounting has been very positive.

Personally I probably would avail myself of an opportunity if it presented itself.

Courtesy Parking

I'm just about to join WBCCI (waiting for July 1). I'll sure use courtesy parking if I can reasonably fit it into a trip. It's a good way to meet some nice folks and have access to some local knowledge.

We have used courtesy parking. The members offering the parking were a couple we had met and spent time with at a couple of National rallies. It was great to visit old friends again.

I plan to use courtesy parking again, even if I've not met the people before. It's a great way to meet nice people, and it's safer than staying in a Walmart parking lot, etc.

Welcome~

I' as of yet, haven't used it but, given the chance I'd sure lov to try~~if for no other reason then, 'just meet someone whose local to the area'. But, of course we all know that there's no such thing as a stranger, just a friend we have yet to meet. So, that to me is the most positive aspect of Courtesy Parking.
Mark, we're likewise in NH ..
So Welcome aboard the best forum going~Fantastic people & knowledge group'd here.
ciao

Lightbulb Courtesy Parking

Regarding courtesy parking.... We are new (2001) members to the WBCCI and think it is a great idea. Only problem is that we can never seem to locate it anywhere near the places we are headed toward! I would offer it from our location in Charlottesville, VA, but we are in process of re-doing the driveway and don't have an appropriate spot available right now.

It would be interesting to see another A/S'er every now and then
in our home area, so when we are ready, I'll post in the WBCCI booklet.

Cool Courtesy Parking

Have small full hook up camp ground in Pensacola, Florida. Just ten minutes from I10. Would enjoy other air stream owners to visit overnight for free. I own a 1971 27ft vintage air stream.

Courtesy parking

We would be happy to have forum members or WBCCIers park in our driveway: lots of space, electric hookup, water available during warmer months. We're a good jumping off place for Y'stone: it's about 2 hrs away. Idaho Falls is only 50K population, but we're the second largest city in Idaho! That tells you what this state is like: lotsa State and Natl forests (campgrounds!), world-class whitewater and fishing, and very few people to clog 'em up! What more could campers ask for?

Yes, we have courtesy parking and yes it has been used once. They stayed for four nights with no problems.
