Central Washington Wine Country

I didn't want to hijack the Prettiest Places in California thread, but I really liked how it was phrased. "What are the prettiest places to camp with an airstream in California? Looking for natural beauty with minimal concrete and lots of trees and grass."
We visit Washington wine country 3 or 4 times a year, and would love to find a place with trees and grass and quiet to camp. So far, everything I've seen is concrete Wallmartesque - not our style.

Any suggestions?

Take a look at the Harvest Hosts site, they should have several courtesy parking places in the area.

Try the Olympic Peninsula. Not much grass but lots of trees and quiet.

Mark here from central Washington APPLE/ wine country........

I am a new A.S. owner so .. I might have to get back with you on a good RV park if that is what you are looking for.

If its off the beaten path... I have a few different ideas.

Let me know!!! Glad to hear you like visiting C.W. it's a lot dryer than the west side of the state!
