Camco 37463 3-Way By-Pass Valve Replacement
Any better ideas?
I went to winterize my 2018 FC and had to remove the hose to the water pump so I could install a plastic tube to pull antifreeze from my gallon jug.
That is one tight area in there and I was barely able to get my hands in there.
I determined I was not going to do this every winter. So I went to Menards and a Plumbling supply house. Not had a fitting that would fit in that confinement. I searched on the internet and found this valve from Camco. Not I can reach in there and attach my hose for my antifreeze.
Will the old connections fit onto it as well?
Good idea, I had the same issue on our 28’.
You will need a good cap though.

I will take pictures when it is completed. Not sure what you mean by I will need a good cap. Yes the fittings are all .500 inch.
The end with the new hose will need a cap when not in use correct?

Cap is needed more to keep dirt out and the threads clean--the valve cuts off the one input when it's turned to the correct position, and opens the other...

works great. Installed last year during my first winterization. Easy Will make doing it this year even easier. The cap I believe is just to keep the intake area clean. Valve shuts it off.
I left my hose on, with a few inches of fluid above the valve, curled up and stowed. Was all there exactly the same waiting for me this year, ready to go.
