But Honey, it followed me home!

Just got back from s whirlwind drive to pick up our latest baby. I would like to present "Stella" the Excella. There dosen't seem to be any known cure Airstreamitis. Just sold our '78 31 International Sovereign less than a month ago, told my better half we should wait until next spring to see if we wanted to still camp. Next thing I know I was on Craigslist and stumbled onto an ad with no picture. Shot an email to owner asking for pic's. The next thing I was aware of I was calling him and saying I would buy it sight unseen. I do believe my wife thought I hd lost my mind, then I mentioned in passing it was only 710mi away. At that point she was certain I had lost it. So I conned my boss into a Friday off, packed a bag and my tools and off I went. PO said he would leave her open with the AC and propane on so I could check her out if he was not at home. I was shocked at what great shape she was in considering the price we had agreed on. 2 hrs later I was on my way back home with "Stella" following me. Stella is a 1989 29' Excella in near mint condition. She even has 2 solar panels and a long list of factory options. Christmas came early this year. We (yes my wife said we could keep her after she saw her) are so excited. Will post pic's as soo as I figure out how to do it.

You have a good eye Moosetags. Got her in Appolo Beach. We are 3 owner. PO's had kept an incredible amout of info, from copies of original title to all maint and improvements. Still can't believe our good fortune.

Moosetags, have been trying to update my profile. Can't seem to remove my previous trailers from it? Where can I locate info?

Go to the upper blue tool bar on the Portal Page. Click on 'user cp'. On the screen that will come up, go to the left side tool bar and click on 'edit your details' right at the top. on the screen that appears, scroll down to the trailers and add/remove as appropriate.

WOW! What good luck! A near mint to boot! That trailer could follow me home any day. Have fun planning a Fall trip or driveway camping I'd be sleeping with a smile in that thing.
