What year is the AS?
With the older fans the fan speed switch is what supplies power to the fan it must be on a number, the rocker will shut the fan off and change from in/out.🤔

Hi Bob,
I’m a big fan of your posts, may have to switch to Griot’s One Step once my Walbernize one gallon runs out.
2008 International. Both were working before storage. One was acting up, fixed it before storage by changing the blown fuse.
Now they’re both dysfunctional

Check the little switch that shuts off the fan when the covet closes. It on the hinge side of the cover above blade sans motor.

Could be the temperature setting. My Fantastic fans have a temperature control. If its cooler inside the Airstream than the temperature control setting, the fans would not operate. I don't know the minimum temperature required to make the fans work.

54 degrees outside here in Cleveland, Ohio. 64 degrees inside the 28 foot Airstream.

Did you check the 12 volt fuses in the camper?

I was going to ask the same thing about fuses.
Seems odd that one of the fan fuses has blown before....
Instead of 20 Questions I wish people would list the troubleshooting steps they had performed--AND the results; 'twould be easier in the long run for everyone.

12V fuses in the electrical panel? I checked all the fuses there (15 amp and 20 amp fuses) they are all looking good, no blown one. Is that what you meant?
Where else could they be located?
I played around with the controls of the fans:
In/out button
Dial for the hot/cold
Dial 0,1,2,3
I could not find the switch that one of you mentioned that is close to the hinge.

So, back to that temperature control knob... Maybe it is still too cool to activate the fan? Will freely admit that I do not know the lower cut-off temperature. Although, do find it a little suspicious that both fans decided to go on holiday at the same time and am wondering more about whether they are actually working normally (despite the fans not spinning).
The things I'd check first is current going to the fan unit. At the risk of insulting, pull the fuse and measure across the metal probes that connected to the fuse. But seeing as the fuse is probably in a butt-end with twist remove style of housing, the multi-meter's negative probe will probably go all the way inside (center) and the positive will touch along the outside of the near end's tube.I f this is not making sense, ask around for help from somebody whom is familiar with a multi-meter to verify that there is current at the fan's fuse.
Or, consider skipping the electrical current test and go straight for eliminating the temperature control feature. Start by turning the temperature control knob to the coldest setting. If it is actually still too cold for the thermostat to trigger its fan, heating the unit a bit should get the fan to spin. Something like a blow dryer heating the area around the temperature control knob should work.

Thank you all for your tips and suggestions, especially TIAGIZMO, it’s looks like it’s the Atwood dome switch/plunger switch that needs replacement. I called Dometic/Atwood customer service for some troubleshooting and she recommended changing the part K1122-05. I played with it after minor disassembly, the plunger switch would not go up when the cover is open, when I pushed the plunger up from the inside of Airstream, the fan worked!
Will see when I get the part on the 30th of March from Amazon, I guess I have to go up on the roof, I’ll do it when we have a nice weather here and the roof is dry
Thanks again to everybody!

FIXED IT!!! Plungers got stucked, lubed it, and pushed down from the inside and now have free play going up and down.
Canceling ordered parts. Persistence and patience paid off!!!
Long middle finger helped [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]!!!

#1: Check the fan's fuse; and
#2: If your unit has a rain sensor, check the sensor as it may need to be wiped clean.

Glad you got it fixed!! That's always a thriller for me when I finally fix something or understand why it didn't work in the first place. Thanks for posting that you got it done too, so many times people fix it and don't post and others are still trying to help.
