I went out and bought a 1999 35' diesel Cutter. They pulled all the stops when they put this thing together, wow! ....Quick question, how much propane does a fridge normally go through when not running 110ac? Is it pretty efficient running on gas? It is going to be a couple of months before It is plugged up at a community.

Those are nice rigs we looked at one yesterday, but I am going to stay vintage for now...besides I "saved" $120k by not buying The fridges are very frugal on LP, if you have a full tank you should be fine, I have run my popup fridge for over a month on a 20# tank and still had some left over. However, the fridge does use 12volt power to run the controller, so make sure your batteries are topped up. Does your cutter have the Solar Panel option? If so, you are good to go.

It depends.......

If it is the original fridge, no. If it has been replaced with a fridge that has lit buttons across the top, or no pilot(electric ignition), then yes.

Easy way to answer the question is with a question. Do you have to light a pilot light?

The 12 volt answer is the opposite of the answer to the above question.

OR

Do you have 2 knobs and a button at the base of the refer inside the door?

Same rule applies, yes means you do not need 12 volts to run.

I have the solar panel. I don't know the wattage, but it looks to be a small size panel on the roof.

I did find out the solar panel is only 10 watt, barely enough to cover parasitic draw of radio memory.

I was reading the book on the fridge and it says it has a limp mode, but it doesn't stay on if I switch the power completly off. Oh well, I'll figure something out.
