Tons of good reading in the "Camp Chair Mulling" thread as Hittensteihl noted above: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f483...ng-120940.html

We love our Kermit chairs, btw.

Lot's of good choices depending on what you want. I love my Kermit chairs, bought when I was doing moto trips and Kermit still owned the company. I use them more for moto trips and when going light with my car, haven't used with our Airstream travels. The Zip Dees are great for the ease of storage in the sofa carpartment and good for dining, etc. I just wish they were still stainless frames like they use to offer so there would be less rusting concern when hanging out near the ocean. We have one Lefuma, super comfy for lounging but a PITA to cart around, just too big when folded. A couple of bag chairs that go with us for day outings, stay in the back of the truck and can get beat to hell at campfires, by guests, etc.

Guess I have chair obsession. Now if I could just fit a pair of Eames leather louge chairs in the Airstream.

We ordered some "zero gravity" folding recliners from Target and they were delivered to our house for $59 each. They are the best travel chairs I've ever experienced. Lightweight and if you're not careful...you'll fall asleep in them.

Camper World carries some virtually identical and on sale this month for $49.

I try the folding chairs EVERYWHERE and the best I've found have been at Home Depot! Mind you, I'm not interested in a $100 chair... Instead I want one that is comfortable (and large enough) but that I don't feel bad about leaving out in the rain.

Funny story: I was in Home Depot early this spring and I was trying chairs (because I always do!) and found some that I was like "wow, these are great!" so I bought two of them. When I got them home, I found that they were identical to the chairs I already owned! At least I know what I like!

My husband is 6' 4" about 250lbs and has back problems. He has used this chair going on 3 years now. Strong enough for him but light enough for me to collapse and carry. Reasonably priced and comes in solid blue too. http://m.gandermountain.com/modperl/...s.cgi?i=760876

these zero gravity chairs are fantastic, the only drawback, they are a bit heavy, a testament to how well they are built...The drink holders (hold your cellphone as well) snap on really easy, genius design...
the price listed below is for a pair, I did not have to pay for shipping

Aluminum folding chair.

These are 190 each. But extremely durable. We transport them in our shower.

We also use them for our home patio set to justify the price.
