AS Picture in USA Weekend!

Page 7 shows Joaquin Phoenix sitting in front of a Vintage Airstream. USA Weekend is a small feature magazine included with many Sunday papers.

My first guess would be a fresh water tank.

I forgot to compliment you on your pics; you are kind to post them. So how many dollars is the top decker (approximately)...

OK, somebody post a picture...

because the AZ Republic doesn't have that section. I'd like to see what you guys are talking about. Does the article or caption mention anything of the vintage Airstream?

Okay...here it is ~

Nope flyfshr, no story...basically, the article is just a series of "extra" pictures that USA Weekend had taken over the past year for other stories that weren't used in those articles. So they used them as a year-end special photo section...I've attached the picture & caption below.

Thanks Shari...

about a '56 or '57 model if I would say, judging by the type of windows and number of skins on the front.

Was A/C an option in the 50's? And shouldn't the windows be a jalously type if built before 1964?

That looks like a newer Duo-Therm AC to me, Action.

I concur with flyfshr & pick...I think it's probably a '57 Flying Cloud with an aftermarket A/C. Check out these pictures from www.vintageairstream.com archives.
