Are Dinettes That Rare?

The AS we are looking at has a front dinette instead of the standard couch. I have only seen a couple other photos of AS's with dinettes. Are they that rare?

Yep in the older ones they are! I have been researching to find a '64 with an original dinette since we got ours...to no avail! I've seen a couple that were added later and a couple that were the same era but slightly older or newer so we'll go from there.

Actually, I am just getting ready to get started on building our dinette using the old front gaucho parts & pieces TODAY...we'll see how it goes ~ I'll post pictures as we go along.
