I get my 1971 18'
Caravel today. I've been looking for a smaller Airstream that I could afford for some time. This one seems to be in pretty good shape. The floors are solid and the tambour doors pull (well, most of them). The decor is ugly -- dark fiberboard cabinetry, grey-brown cushion covers -- and the bathroom plastic is yellowed and stained. Fingers crossed that I didn't miss any major problems when I inspected. Anyway, great to find these forums. Will be looking to them a lot for advice when I get my hands on my new trailer.
