Just some purely unscientific observations that might help your boondocking plans.
I wanted a portable battery to power my CPAP overnight when not on shore power.
I purchased a
Jackery 500 with 518Wh of available power. It comes with AC, DC, and USB ports.
I use a
Resmed Airsense 10, and sometimes a heated hose for those cold nights. I also have a Resmed DC power supply connection.
This was my experience.
All uses were approximately 7 hours sleep.
AC power
With heated hose, used 76% of battery power.
Without heated hose, used 16% of battery power.
DC power
With heated hose, used 40% of battery power
With regular hose, used 14% of battery power
The Jackery was easy to use, charged within a few hours. When using AC, can sometimes hear a small internal fan, probably keeping an inverter cool.
You can see, with regular non-heated hose, I have several days capacity, and some left over for a laptop charge.
YMMV.
