Airstreams Everywhere!

Today, on a single 50 mile stretch of I-44, between Joplin and Springfield, Mo., I saw two classic motorhomes, one late model trailer - Safari, I think, one very late model (and beautiful) Land Yacht motorhome, one Cutter diesel, and another trailer so new that it still had the plastic on the rock guards.

Two questions:
1) Where is everybody going?
2) Why wasn't I invited?

Mark

The bad news is that I tell you, of course I have to kill you.

The good news is that you'll get to pick who does it and how, so it might work out after all...

Mark
I was headed west on I70 last week at this time. In a matter of 40 miles I had 5 sightings (and these were individuals not traveling together). The west bound group including me were heading for the Sedalia Bill Thomas Rally.

I think there is a Branson caravan coming up soon that I think starts in Carthage Mo.

Fall is here and we are all on our last trips. I'm heading out to Branson shortly. And that will be it for us till next spring.....BTW you are always invited Mark!

Jack

Jack,

You commented on all of the Airstreams heading west on I-70 last weekend.
After looking at your attached photos, I realized that you were the one that was parked at the eastbound I-70 reststop between Kingdom City and Wright City last Sunday afternoon. My wife and I pulled in next to you. We were the one with the Bambi.

Seen some myself

Both yesterday and today I had the thrill of seeing one TT each day here in Elgin, Ill. One was a looonnggg three axle unit heading north on McLean Blvd (had the rear cubby door open--oops) and the other was heading south on Illinois Rt 31 (State St) That one was a double axle, possibly a Sovereign. Glad to see them and wishing I was travelling. Haven't taken mine anywhere since we got back in January. Hope to see more soon.
