Airstream... you've come a long way, baby.

Only in an Airstream...

Taylor Swift Karlie Kloss March 2015 Cover - Vogue

You could hook that 'Stream up, pull it to some backwoods boondock, with a few smelly campers, and it would be every bit in its element.

Try that with a T@B, or a three million dollar Prevost

Really? Having been converted with sliding glass doors all down one side, I really don't think it's towable at all anymore unless you're fond of broken glass. Look at picture 4 of 10 and you'll see. That Airstream ain't going nowhere.

That Airstream looks like it's permanently set up as a guest room with a deck. Still pretty nice, though.

I'm a little surprised that Vogue didn't blot out the Airstream name on the back of the trailer because of the advertising value. They probably didn't worry about it as they thought "they don't make those things anymore".

ooohh, I could do that to a written off, ripped open sided one and not feel bad...Yet another spot to hide from all the teenagers in my house. I just need to figure out how that glass door works...any ideas?

Probably just like a sliding glass door at home, except with three or four sections rather than just two, with each glass panel in its own track.

In image 4 of 10, there appears to be a lock between two sections, just like the locks on display cases at the local electronics stores.

I don't see any weatherstripping between the glass panels; it was probably omitted for aesthetic reasons and due to the trailer being in a relatively dry yet dust-free environment. Framed glass panels with weatherstripping probably would work better in most parts of the country.

LOL, exactly.
I only ever see three 'vehicle' props in any serious photoshoot:
Ferrari
Harley
Airstream

Airstreams are really special The only two wheeled exhibits ever to go on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City are a 1948 Lincoln Continental and a vintage Airstream Travel Trailer.

This put the Airstream in the category of Iconic.

Like the early 60s Ford Thunderbird. Tow this AS to Big Bear Lake, Canada in JAN and wear a snowmobile suit to bed ( inside an arctic sleeping bag )

I just found an early 80s Airstream in a full page Allstate ad ..shown in a old copy of Natl Geographic. No cute young ladies though..

Mine was filmed and photographed last year for Tervis Tumblers advertising. So cool.

If you are asking about the Taylor Swift photos, you need to scroll through them by clicking the arrow at the side, such as the right side. The AS is in most of the pictures.

it's like that internet meme with a picture of a very beautiful, scantily clad woman, captioned: "100% of the men looking at this didn't notice Bigfoot in the picture"

sure enough, there's bigfoot taking up the whole right side of the background...

yeah, I could have just posted the pic, but I didn't want to contribute to the pornification of Airforums

The images ARE all work-safe, though, so the only "porn" is alumi-porn from the naked aluminum. Hubba-hubba!
