Airstream T-Shirts
Here is a link to an ebay bid for Airstream T-Shirts. The shirts are interesting and can be customized with your WBCCI number and your names or something else (I'm putting the Chapter Name on them).
I have emailed the person with the bid and she will be accepting all (bids) orders at the minimum price $15.95 + shipping. She is an Airstream owner and dependent upon quantities and interest, she may be able to get additional designs in the future. Note the quantity offered is 25 but there will be more than that available. She just plugged in 25 to get the bid set up.

Got some coming
I ordered 2 of the T shirts with my name and number.
They have a number of other designs in addition to the one on eBay. See http://www.cjentusa.com/airstream.html for all the others. She said more designs are coming in the future.

I went to the root, www.flysavers.com, and drilled down from there.
http://www.flyservers.com/members/cj...airstream.html
They probably re-arranged things after the first post.

It ends up the folks making these shirts are located just outside of St. Louis. They delivered mine to my home today and they are very nice. I have not seen them but my wife called and said she was very impressed with the quality.

On the way
Mine have been shipped by Priority Mail. I think this is a really neat idea and they have been super nice to deal with. They have a lot more Airstream designs and I'll probably order more.

The fellow who makes these said he did not know how long these shirts would be available though. Apparently he is concerned that Thor might have an issue with the trailers depecting the Airstream name or the words Airstream on the shirt itself. Let's hope they leave him alone, long enough for us to get a few.
I put our unit name on ours, so I bet he will get a few orders after we wear our shirts to next week's unit rally.
For those of you interested use the link on Bobby W's post above.

There was someting regarding brand liscensing in the letter to members from Larry Huttle in this months Blue Beret. I wonder if we are about to see Airstream requiring royalties on things like this, or them wanting to exert more control regarding the Airstream name???
I will re-read the letter. I do not see it posted on the WBCCI web site.

T-shirts
My two shirts came by priority mail yesterday and I am very pleased with them, so much so that I ordered two of one of their different AS designs, one for me and one for my wife.
These are really nice folks to deal with.

I think they are pretty nice. Patty and I are going to wear them at our local unit rally later this week. I'm going to make some copies of their web page to hand out since I think there will be lots of interest.

We're famous!
Well. notarious, anyway.
The illustration for design #85 on the page http://www.flyservers.com/members/cj...airstream.html
has my WBCCI number and our names and city.
That is because they just changed the artwork for that design and I was the very first to get the new image.
Oh well, my 10 seconds of fame.

Hey that looks good! I'll be interested in seeing the reaction to my shirt when I wear it to the unit rally tomorrow. I think CJ will do a little more business.

Thanks all!
Thanks all for the good words and nice comments. It's been fun talking with you, some in person, others by email. Since this is a fairly new website, we've had several bugs to work out as well as periodic address glitches. I apologize to all who tried and couldn't get the site or payment page. All should be up and working by now (I hope!) I've had several good design suggestions and ideas from Airstream owners, including some great photos of a '53 and '64 submitted by Jack Greene in Atlanta. I don't know if he's in this forum, but thanks Jack! We're in process of using those photos to create a '53 segmented unit which should make for some very neat, vintage designs.
Have fun all. Hope to see some of you as time permits.
Be safe and best wishes!
CJ
