I spotted you at Topsail, too, along with about 86 others...

SCORE!
We were towing our 28 home, didn't see much of you as the truck towing the boat in the fast lane was blocking the view.
Cheers

I guess I should have told you when we went to Smith Lake.
That's fairly close to your home.
Then I could have spotted you.

Saw three fine Airstreams today in the Colter Bay Campground in the awesome Grand Teton National Park.

I'm, alas, staying in the lodge.

I spot some AS but I'm often not in a position to take a picture. Because I don't have a picture I often fail to report a sighting. Like yesterday I saw two on the road but didn't get a picture of either as they were going the opposite direction.

I saw a shorter one, maybe 19' towed by a blue Toyota Tacoma in Camp Hill, PA. It looked like brand new it was so shiny. And I saw a 25' or 27' towed by a Tundra heading north on US 15 north of Dillsburg, PA. Both sightings were about 1:15 to 1:30 PM.

The dinette in the 23FB was a loser as a bed for her friend, but the rest was a real winner. Her perfect bathroom and bed room. The 23D was a winner on the couch, but a loser on the bed. She felt the bed was too short for her. But her biggest concern was her fear of towing a 23 ft coach.

She went with the 19. Her friend liked the dinette bed. She really liked the exterior shower and the awning. But her choice was driven to the 19, because she was more comfortable towing the shorter trailer.

Nice to see shiny coaches on the show. Pat
Agree, good show but most of the time they feature only 1/2 million$$$$$ and up MOHOs.

I like to watch Flippin' RVs on the travel channel. They have some interesting restorations of very old TTs, campers and RVs. It's amazing how much money people are willing to spend for nostalgia. You always see old ASs in the background. They have one on their website page right now.

Met a 23' or 25' AS trailer on the steep narrow two lane road at Mt Mitchell. It was towed by a dark (Black??) Toyota (Land Cruiser??). I was going up (not towing) it was going down. We passed in a flash! There was no time for a photo. I know it made it down OK! I saw it again a couple hours later, parked at the NC Mineral Museum in the pouring rain.

Cutter motorhome in Cortez, CO.

Pulled into La Mesa RV park in Cortez, CO today. There is a Cutter here (it is a fiberglass class A made by AS years ago). Have not talked to the people yet.

(Hope that looks ok, the thumbnail looks upside down here on my phone)

Also saw a newish bambi (maybe 19) westbound on I-40 near Sanders, AZ this morning around 10:30.

Our AS has 3 kin neighbors in the little town where it spends most of its time; here's one of them... quite a large per capita ratio of Airstreams to residents.

Airstream sightings

We were northbound on US 85 north of Lingle, WY this past Thursday, and a southbound AS met us, and returned the greeting. At Devils Tower Nat Monument CG, loop A host has a 73. He said the previous owner, who was the first owner, stored it in a barn all year, except the one week a year they went to the lake with family. The host estimated the rig had less than 1000 miles on it, and it was all original inside with everything working. Yesterday, another AS came in to the park behind us as we returned from the store, but they did not camp.

Trifecta!

Pulled into a rest stop on my way home from Letchworth State Park (WOW!) and just prior to pulling out...I was joined my two vintage Airstreamers on their way home from a rally! Great people, probably forum members but forgot to ask.
Does it get any better!
