The blue Airstream belongs to the folks across the street at the goofy golf. When they first modified and set it up it was beautifully polished. By the end of the first season it was looking pretty rough. Instead of repolishing they decided to paint it. It spends the off season across the street under a pole barn. They own two more with plans to convert to food carts.

I like that awning. I don't think I've seen a curved one like that. Looks great on that nice looking old Avion.

I've seen numerous Airstream's around the Grand Teton area while boon docking over here. If you see a blue Ram flashing you and waving that's me. Since I wasn't towing an Airstream, I'm sure they were confused.

If you notice the center polls are longer than the end ones. Also it has a very small roller, so it is flexible enough to bend. Very cool looking...

Airstream sightings

Saw one one last Thursday on our way to Crescent Lake on the Olympic Peninsula. They were headed East and South. We flashed and waved at each other. Then we saw one at the Log Cabin Resort campground. Looked like a fairly recent 28' International. It's a rental!

We spotted a 1960's vintage, possibly a Globe Trotter 20', being towed by a Porsche 911, outside the Royal Yacht Britannia exhibition in Edinburgh, Scotland. Unfortunately the tour bus didn't stop and finger trouble prevented an iPhone photo. Saying we were surprised to see one in that spot is an understatement.

Olympic Peninsula yesterday was a banner day for Airstreams:
* A 21' Bambi camped at Salt Creek Recreation Area, just down from us
* 3 more Airstreams headed west as we drove East toward and through Port Angeles on our way to Sequim and points beyond.

One Airstream Westbound on Hwy 401 near Napanee Ontatio, another being used as a hot dog stand at a mini-putt in Belleville, Ontario and a third 1960's vintage near Parham, Ontario at a horse farm...in good shape and still in use. Unfortunately we couldn't stop for a hotdog...

They probably thought you were telling them there was a cop up ahead or a crazy person.

We saw a B-van in the back parking lot of a business in Cleveland, Ga on Tuesday headed home from the campground. A few minutes earlier, passed a 60's model, maybe a 24'er pulled by a red Chevy pickup, just north of Cleveland. Got a wave from that one. You a member here? One of the campground hosts at Unicoi SP was in a 2013 27(?) Eddie Bauer. Really, REALLY, nice Airstream.

Ok we've seen close to 20 Airstreams this afternoon come through Capitol Reef and Torrey, UT. Anyone know what's going on and where they are all going? Not everyone had WBBCI stickers.

It could be the SW Caravan. They go through Capital Reef. Not sure of the timing of when they will be there this year.

Just saw our twin (2015 25FC FB) pulling in to the Harrisonburg Shenandoah Valley KOA. The TV was a black VW Touareg. Same hitch - E2 and was surprised that the TV was so small

Mission Mountains - Flathead Valley Montana

Saw a newer - 25' or so - maybe a Flying Cloud? pulled by a White Toyota pickup northbound on US 93 between Flathead Lake and St. Ignatius - maybe on their way to Glacier. They looked sharp! Too fast for the camera though.
