Two more in WA

One in Aberdeen, right around the corner from my sister in law's house, and an Avion at the Eagle's Landing Hotel in Rochester, WA.

Ingrid,
The top, left one looks very much like a Spartan. Our family lived in one from 1957 to 1964, but not this particular model.

jewel among toy haulers

I was headed north on the 14 in So. CA Sunday after Thanksgiving. Literally 100's of toy haulers heading south, towards home. Saw a jewel among the SOBs (square old boxes) coming down the hill south of Palmdale (4:30ish). Safari SE or International? Hope you had fun! I was wishing I was on an Airstream trip too!

If it was being pulld by a Silver truck. That was us. We were there at that time coming back from Panamint Valley.

on the 18th of Nov we were coming back from Port Townsend, WA and still on Whidby Island when a late model Safari behind an almost new dark blue F250 (I think) passed us heading south. Beautiful combo, and it sure warmed the heart to see them zipping down the road. That trailer and truck sure were a stand out over the other SOB's we had seen on the trip.

I think you're right.

Folks, remember the game rules:

Airstream Sighting: 1 point
Vintage Airstream sighting: 2 points
Polished vintage Airstream: 5 points
Connecting with the owner on the forums: (I'm tempted to say "priceless" but...)

TEN POINTS!!

My first "sighting post" and I made a connection with Goin camping, priceless I say (but I'll take the ten points). BTW I picked my smilie not because it was sarcastic, I think it looks 'dreamy', just like I feel about my Airstream! Now I'm off to Google Panamint Valley.

During Expo86 in Vancouver the Transit system had big pictures on the side of the Royal Hudson Steam Train heading down the tracks and it was a great picture. One of our friends ended up with one which is huge, beautiful, and mounted on his rec room wall. If the one you are seeing for the Airstreams is a neat picture you might want to see if you can get one from your Transit system when they take them off. Would be neat to have on the wall in a garage or rec room.

Once again, had a great "sighting" while enjoying yet another one of our amazing Pacific sunsets. This Intl. CCD was outstanding in the field of surrounding SOBs. Lovely, elegant, interior lights glowing and silver skin shining...And the owners are new fulltimers, thoroughly enjoying their new life on the road in this beautiful self-contained home. We were so impressed with the clean lines, spare yet warm and welcoming interior, and the enthusiasm of the owners. It helped stave off the anticipation of waiting for our own new addition--due this Friday! They were happy to have us photograph their pride and joy.
