July 6, 2013, I am parked at Montgomery Bell State Park near Dickson, TN and as I walked around the campground roads I saw 2 more Airstreams parked here as well. This must be the time for streaming.

This Interstate passed us today on I-26 West bound! I'd really like to have that as a tow vehicle!

Today, spotted a late model Bambi being towed by a white range rover, on I 95 north near the 93 S junction in Ma. I never see Aistreams around here! Sweet!

Spotted three on our drive from South Carolina to D.C. On the 7th all southbound on I-95. Two in NC and one just into VA. Exchanged a wave with all three. Once I pulled into the MWR campground at Ft. Meade, there was an extremely nice 34' Limited parked about 200 feet away. Spoke with the owner as he was rigging up to pull out the next morning and got a quick tour of the refreshed interior. Good weekend for Airstream sightings that weren't the usual sad trailer in someone's back yard being neglected or parked by the road with a for sale sign in the window.

Airstream sightings
Spotted Monday, July 8, 2013 at approximately 3:00 PM headed West on Interstate 24 in Paducah, Kentucky about 1.8 miles from the Ohio River bridge . . . an Airstream or Argosy Motorhome appearing to be 24-feet in silver and red . . . Probably an Airstream, but couldn't be certain.

'99 safari 27'
Fotos forthcoming. I note with curiosity that the '99 27' Safari does not appear in the drop-down model list when I signed-up here on Airforums. I'm in limbo in more ways than one! Our sellers are living aboard 'til the end of the month.
We're contemplating names -- what does anyone think of "Solid Comfort"? This is the name of the small island on the French River in Ontario where my Granddad and his cronies established their fishing camp way back in the day. I was fortunate to have whiled-away many a blissful summer day there when I was a tyke, thanks to Mom and Dad ....
Speaking of the Forums, what a marvelous way to do "homework" whilst twiddling my thumbs in anticipation. While I have extensive experience with all manner of land-n-sea vehicles, this will be my first AS after years and years of admiring them from afar. This is the most comprehensive forum I've ever had the pleasure of joining -- on ANY subject. All-in-all, I've begun to realize that 'Streamers are a great bunch of "Turrible Knuckleheads", and I can feel the symptoms beginning to spread rapidly. My list of AS questions is expanding exponentially, and I'll doubtless be casting them out into the ocean of knowledge herein as soon as I've had more time to crawl over, under, around, and through .....
Solid Comfort?

A pal at work saw this behind the local McDonalds. He noted the hood was up with a mechanical issue. I hope everything turned out good!

That's a member of the Tin Can Tourists, on his way home from his Lincoln Highway Tour with the club.

That`s an early `50s Buick, judging by the three holes in the side of the front fender, and a similar age AS, I suppose, with the 13 sections?
