Still no Fall issue in the mailbox on 11-1-2004
I knew from growing up here that Lubbock TX was sort of out in the sticks....but, I did think until now that we had reasonable postal service......

Has anyone in TX, MS, or CA received their issues? If so, when?
Just trying to get an idea of how long it takes to certain parts of the country. Last issue it took three full weeks to get to CA, which in this case will be Nov 4.

Unbelievable! Almost three weeks in the postal system! If that's the impact of the political mailings, I'm already dreading the Winter issue -- it's going to get caught in the Christmas rush.
Everyone please tip your mail carriers and maybe you'll get the Winter issue before the end of January!

I'm the lucky one I got mine a really short time after I subscribed. Enjoyed it, and we are leaving it out on the coffee table for visitors to look through.

SF Bay Area of Calif delivers!
We got our Fall issue on Monday of this week, but we're a lot closer to main mail distribution annex for northern California than Coastalview... Political mail in Calif with all the statewide propositions added to local carrier's burdens...
John McG
p.s. Another fabulous editing and production job!! Looks like something a staff of dozens would need years to develop, and I know it's a more intimate deal than that...

I'm impressed - I noticed the new cover of Airstreamlife (the fiddler) in the left pane a day or two ago, and thought, "Cool! Just a few short weeks & it will be here. ".
Guess what came in today's mail?

Still waiting...
It's seems that if you live one State over from where Airstream Life is being shipped from you get it 3 1/2 to 4 weeks after the shipment date. I guess the Post Office is sending mine via Guam......

Anxiously checking the mail box......While we have not received the Spring issue yet - we did however receive our three replacements. I wanted to publicly thank Airstream Life for going that extra mile!
Rich got wind of a mishap at the Florida State Rally. I had displayed the magazines in my mag rack for the Vintage open house and forgot to put them back in their protective envelopes.
The next morning we got hit with a pretty good storm. In our haste to batten down the hatches, sticking buckets and bowls under the iminent leaks here and there, an intense worried feeling about the trailer being swept away and our awning (oops left out over night) being torn from it's mounts or making the MoonBeam airborn we completely forgot about the magazine rack - when all was said and done and we were finally able to move to the back of the fair grounds from the front field I saw my magazines
Like both Peter and I as well as Taz and Haily along with every towel and the front cushions THEY WERE SOAKED! and ruined.
Once again - thanks for your super kind gesture! I read them again from cover to cover. Can't wait for the spring issue.

Our copy arrived today 4/7/05.
Nice job Rich Luhr!!!
Glad to see that the correct phone number for our restoration company "Trailer Buff" was listed. Would be happy to share our restoration experience with any one that would like to hear from an existing customer. We should have our Overlander by May 1st!!!
