I got mine out here in suburban Chicago several days ago. Can't say which day, exactly, because I don't sit around stewing over whether a magazine is due in the mail or not .... not that everybody else should lose that childlike sense of anticipation, of course! keep hounding rich.

Well, it seems that people are continuing to get them every day, so maybe do me a favor and hold off on the deluge of email requesting replacement copies for a few more days?

Andy's copies were sent via FedEx Ground, so his delivery time is not a good comparison. But I would be interested in hearing from anyone else in Southern California who has received theirs. Last time it took three weeks to get to California -- so far it has been only two weeks, so perhaps a bit more patience is required.

I do apologize for the wait, but I really don't have any control over it. I hope you all understand.

But rest assured I will send a report to the Post Office about this! Not that it will necessarily help, but it might make me feel better about it.

We can wait. We know its not the publishers fault, just puzzles me, that there seems to be not logical reason for the differential in items of this nature to arrive almost randomly by the USPS. We just received a priorty mail package from New York, that only took two weeks to get, parcel post would have been faster.

Rich,

It hit St. Louis on Tuesday. Ole Dr. C. just cracks me up! You couldn't have gotten a better person to do the wrap up of an issue. Let's hope he stays a fixture!

Got mine yesterday here in Rancho Cucamonga. It was the perfect day rain fire in the fireplace and Airstream Life. Thanks for the day Rich. It was worth the wait.

Still waiting here in Texas. I hope the mailman didn't decide to pinch it, though I wouldn't blame him.

There are strange things happening with the mail. I have my copy, thanks. But I hear from the grapevine (USPS employees) that mail is being delayed in order to get the political stuff out. Truck loads of mail are sitting waiting their turn while the garbage gets first priority.

God bless America, we need it.

Got mine today

Rich, mine arrived here today in Camp Lejeune, NC. Great job again! Love it. Let me know if you need an article or two of my Airstream part explorations.

Guess it pays to be in the center of it all-the middle of Missouri! It looks like we were among the earliest to receive the second issue. I think maybe that's a pretty good payoff for missing seashores, rocky mountains,. . .!

Texas seems to be the black hole of the USPS.

Yeah, I was hoping it would arrive before the rally this weekend. It would've been fun to show it. But no go. Bummer.
