Airstream campgrounds Florida?

WE are going to Florida in early March. Does anyone have recommendations for Airstream Parks in Southern FL?

Smile Airstream Campgrounds in Florida

Hi Brian,

We are in NW Florida, not south Florida, but invite you to visit with us at our Airstream Park on your way down. We are in McDavid, Florida, north of Pensacola. Our park is Mystic Springs Cove. Check our website for details.

Regards, Jim Lewis

Here's a link for Florida Campsites:

Florida Camp Ground Directory

Ooops, just realized you were requesting Airstream only parks.

The one up by Pensacola (already mentioned) is the only one I've seen in Florida. Are there any others?

Traveler's Rest (Dade City) is a wonderful park. Just be sure to take plenty of leveling boards!

Apropos Airstreams in campgrounds, is there a list anywhere of rv parks that provide discounts to Airstreamers (or other makes)?

The WBCCI Membership Directory has a list in the back of campgrounds offering discounts to WBCCI members.

Of course, there are the parks that offer discounts to Good Sam members. And if you join KOA ($10?), you can get a discount at their parks.

The best list of Airstream only campgrounds is a book published by a lady named Tedra that lives in Florida. She always runs an ad in the back of the Blue Beret - the cost is $10.00 and it is well worth it.

I have a well used copy, but I know her address inside is incorrect. Perhaps someone here has her new address.

As far as Florida, you have some choices...

Christmas, FL - Christmas A/S Park - this is open to other brands and is in the 2004 TL Directory - 407-568-5207

Melbourne, FL - there are two parks there, but I know one of them is closing, just can't remember which one. They are: Land Yacht Port O' Call - 1-800-982-0255 and Land Yacht Harbor - 407-254-6398.

Dade City, FL - Travellers Rest - nice park - have camped there before - I agree with the earlier poster - during the busy season you will get placed in the overflow area - bring your leveling boards. 353-588-2013

McDavid, FL - Mystic Springs Cove - have camped there and its another great AS park. 850-256-3280

Punta Gorda, FL - Paradise Park - haven't been there, but know some folks that have and they liked it. 914-639-2680.

These phone numbers were current as of 1998, but Florida has shifted area codes around, so these may not be completely correct.
